A 70’s inspired wedding by the ocean. An explosion of color and joy after so many months of waiting, the diary of a long journey from New York City to Baja Sardinia, Costa Smeralda, the courage of a wild ceremony on the rocks overlooking the sea to crown a dream of love with a retro flavor: a sea-view destination wedding inspired by the 1970s and “La Dolce Vita”.

“I DON’T KNOW WHERE WE’RE GOING

BUT I THINK THIS IS IT” – J+T JULY 3RD 2022

Jenna and Travis from NY chose Sardinia for an extravagant and cool 70s-inspired wedding. From the dress code of the guests, to the bride’s outfit (did you see those shoes? and the veil with embroidered colorful daisies? how cool!!!), to the smallest details, there was a ‘vintage, bubbly and incredibly fun atmosphere. Even the guests got carried away with the 70s-style wedding dress code: some dared the fluorescent, floral or psychedelic prints, some played with accessories. For two creatives like J&T, it was obvious to be surrounded by guests in style! 

For them, our super designer Silvia Mocci custom-made wooden tepees to wrap the lounges, with hanging macramé chandeliers (transformed at night with thousands of colorful bangs and disco balls) to decorate the sea-view gardens. 

An explosion of color also for the floral installations made by Anthea, with mega-clouds of gypsophila and pampas, dubbed (given their truly enormous size) during backstage in the “flying whales.” How not to mention the infinitesimal detail that our floral designers & Silvia put into the table: bits of marble, colored sands, a most accurate and conceptual floral selection. 

My favorite detail of this highly original wedding design? 

The seating chart installation with key chains inspired by Las Vegas Motels.
